Darren Dangerfield

Beginning his career at Llewellyn in East Sussex in 1996, Darren worked his way to a Commercial Management position before founding Blade Consulting in St Leonards on Sea. Darren has worked for a number of large main contractors including market leaders Laing O'Rourke in Dartford and Holloway White Allom in London.

In 2006, Darren's transition into High Specification Residential projects with Holloway White Allom allowed him to further hone his already extensive abilities, culminating in him being appointed as Divisional Commercial Manager. Darren’s system knowledge and strong understanding of the industry allow him to lead the team to provide a compliant but flexible approach to your project. As your Professional Quantity Surveyor he always focuses on ensuring efficient running and tight financial control of even the most complex and cost dependent projects.

History

Blade Consulting was founded in 2011 with a goal to provide flexible and tailored professional quantity surveying services, so that our clients have expert cost control, process management, and investment protection.

With a management team of highly respected and experienced Professional Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, we are able to bring extensive knowledge of all aspects of the construction industry to our service. We have worked in a wide range of sectors and on various types and sizes of projects throughout East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Brighton, London and further afield. Over the past 20 years our work has included high specification residential, developer residential, commercial and local authority projects.

We believe that clients can benefit from our independent insight and expertise, gained from working directly on both the client and contractor sides of the industry, and our passion for the industry means that our advice is always thorough and based on the most up-to-date market trends.
